I had to go a few days without a Newbery to read while I was waiting for the interlibrary loan. But, 3 arrived today and I finished Daniel Boone this afternoon. Daniel Boone, as you would expect, is about the life of Daniel Boone. This book was not very well written but, I liked the story that the author made of the facts. Kids should be warned that some of the ways they talk about Native American in this book are offensive. I bet there are better books written about Daniel and I MIGHT read one some time.
