Matilda

Wow!  How smart can a five-year-old girl be?  If Matilda was real, she would be in the book of world records for being the smartest five-year-old ever.  Matilda's  genius astounded me, but I was confused about why the ending is the way it is.  I think it made sense because Matilda's parents were not the type of parents that would encourage their child to learn or be smart and Miss Honey loved Matilda and I liked it, but I didn't expect it or anything like it.  I was enchanted by Matilda's brains and wish that I was that smart!  This is a very amusing, fast to read book, perfect for summer!
