The Wheel on the School

In this book, school children in the Dutch fishing village of Shora wanted Storks to return to their village. They learned that they needed to put wheels on the roofs of their houses so that the storks would have a place to nest. Accomplishing this turned out to be a bit of an adventure... If you read this book, reading it would be much better than listening to it (I made that mistake) because a lot of the names sound like Ash-a and Ah-sha and Lil-ly and Lil-li-an. It can get REALLY confusing! Even though the names were confusing, I liked the story a lot. It had a little bit of the fairy-tale charm mixed with reality.
