Emma Jean, falls in love for the first time (the title tells you that much). This love lead to all kinds of social drama. It was an interesting book to read just before middle school. One extra cool thing about the copy I read is that it was an ARC (Advance Reading Copy), which are super cool to read and sometimes contain some typos (I found a few). Adult book reviewers and people who pick awards get ARCs so that they can read and recommend books, how great would that be to have ARCs arrive at your house??? A girl can dream!!! Rating: *****

I do prefer ARCs. It would be great to read BLUE! And I am planning to write a Newbery. I don't know what it would be about, though.
