Scumble

Today is the day that Scumble, the sequel to Savvy, is published! Because I LOVED Savvy so much, I was thrilled to have an ARC of Scumble to devour. A second book in a series or a sequel is always hard because you find yourself comparing it to the first book and trying to decide which you like best. In this case, I liked them both. I like the story in Savvy better, but the writing in Scumble was better. In Scumble, Ledger's savvy is mechanical, unlike his cousin Mib's savvy, from Savvy. Ledger puts his savvy to a great use during his extraordinary summer. These books certainly make 13th birthdays exciting!
