I love words! I love reading them, writing them, hearing them, saying them and playing games with them. Love, love, love. I love words! I found this
article particularly interesting because I just don't think the world would be the same without words like nerd (thank you, Dr. Suess!). Now making up a new word is on my personal to do list! What an amazing power that authors can use, adding a word or words to the language is very exciting. If anyone have suggestions for new words please share!

ReplyDeleteI am a word lover like you. Even when I watch TV, I like when everybody talks at the same time and the faster the better. The words flow over me like a breeze with confetti in it.
I was reading the work of a writer in my critique group, and she described her hungry giraffe character as "nibblesome". Nibblesome! Cute, descriptive - why isn't it a real word! It is now, at least to me!

I also love words. Sometimes I make them up but can't think of any good ones to share.
