The Slave Dancer

This was an adventure book about a young boy being captured by slavers. Once on the ship he is set to work playing his fife to make the slaves dance so their muscles stay strong. He discovers the cruelty of the slave trade and that slavers don't care about anything other than money. This book is hard to read because it makes you feel sad but, it is important to know about this part of our history.
