Today is the 50th anniversary of To Kill a Mockingbird! I read To Kill a Mockingbird for the first time last year. I am sure I will read it over and over. After reading it I am newly aware how often it is referenced in other books; I can see why. This book impacts you as a reader and Atticus and Scout will stay with me. People disagree about if this is a book children should read. I am glad I did and know I will read it in new ways as I get older.
