200 Posts!

When I went to write a blog post today, I realized that my total number of published posts has reached 200!  I thought this was a reason to celebrate!  I went to look when I started posting: October 25th.  I was amazed how far my blog has come in less than a year.  What started as a small blog for my grandparents in DC got bigger and bigger.  I have 68 followers on blogger and 27 on twitter.  So far I have had 20,870 hits from all around the world.  Each day I get about 90 hits, but sometimes I get 500 or more in a day.  I posted all 89 Newbery reviews after reading them ALL.  Even more than all of the numbers, the best part of the blog is everything I have learned.  I started off very shy, but as I met more and more people who shared my interests I have connected to an amazing world of authors, publishers, librarians, illustrators, teacher and other book lovers and it rocks!  I still enjoy blogging, reading and connecting.  I hope to have at least 500 posts at my 2 year anniversary and even more friends in the book blogging world!
