Finally, Number Five

The last spot for my Mock Newbery at HMMPL is being filled by....  The Dreamer by Pam Munoz Ryan!  I had a really hard time choosing because there were so many great choices.  But in the end I chose this one because the story is compelling and it is about someone that now I want to learn more about.  Plus, it brings in poetry and I LOVE poetry!!!  So there you have it.  My five Mock Newbery selections are The Dreamer, Keeper, One Crazy Summer, Out of My Mind, and Mockingbird.  Its not to late to sign up to participate on December 12th.  Sign up at the library website if you are interested!
